Cherry blossoms in Stockholm in early May! At this time of year, they’re in bloom in Kungstradgarden, right in the center of Stockholm. A stunning time to be in this beautiful city. Jeff and I arrived in Stockholm in early May, 2013. What we thought was going to be a 6-week trip grew into a five-month journey. Four months in Stockholm, one month in Amsterdam, with side trips to Norway (twice), Dublin, Copenhagen, London, Estonia, Helsinki, and northern Finland for two family reunions. It was the best summer of our lives (so far!)

Bonjour, Stacy! Yes, it is absolutely stunning! I took the photos in early May 2013 (at a later date I will tell you exactly which day), and it’s definitely worth planning a trip around this marvel. Granted, we had fabulous weather during our entire time in Stockholm (we remember only one long-ish downpour in four months!) But these blossoms would be gorgeous even in grey weather.
